Short answer

A small group of fans usually brings most of the DM revenue. Look after them with memory and consistency, not more offers: remember what they tell you, be there when they're online, and pause selling after a big purchase. Give each top fan one regular chatter, and send any custom request to you for approval.

Who counts as a top fan

We tag a fan as VIP once his total spend passes about $500. The exact line depends on your page: on a smaller account it may be lower. What matters is that the team knows who these fans are and treats them differently.

Five habits that keep top fans

  1. MemoryNote the details he mentions: his job, hobby, weekend plans. Bring them up days later. Nothing builds loyalty faster than being remembered.
  2. ConsistencyBe there at the times he is usually online, in the same voice every time.
  3. One regular chatterThe same person on his conversations, with notes that survive every shift change.
  4. A pause after big purchasesOne or two conversations with no offer after a big spend. It builds gratitude, and gratitude buys again.
  5. AftercareAfter a big purchase, check in. If he feels let down, thank him and add a small bonus, then note it so the next offer fits better.

Customs and special requests

Top fans ask for customs. Every request goes to you before anyone says yes: what it is, the price and the delivery date. Nothing is promised in your name that you haven't approved, and nothing outside your boundaries is offered at any price.

What burns top fans out

  • Selling in every conversation. He starts to feel like a wallet, not a person.
  • Forgetting what he said. A different chatter with no notes undoes weeks of trust.
  • Giving hope of something personal. No hints at meeting, ever. Make him feel appreciated without promising anything real-world.
  • Ignoring signs of distress. If a fan seems to be spending beyond his means or is in a bad place, selling stops. See our rules.

What you see as the creator

The weekly report lists how many fans spent over $100 that week, and the monthly review covers your top fans: who is growing, who went quiet and why. You can read any conversation at any time.

Big spenders still get honest answers. We sell what is really in a set and never let a fan believe he will get something that isn't included.
